The Hartman Road Community Garden is located on Hartman Road next to the Rutland Sports Fields.
The land was donated by the City of Kelowna. Funding was provided by grants from the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, Diggers and Weeders, Canadian Federation of University Women and the Central Okanagan Foundation.
The garden was constructed by community volunteers, including youth from the Rutland Boys and Girls Club.
There are 35 plots and two wheelchair accessible plots; an herb garden, rain barrel, shed, compost bins and two picnic tables.
Since 2008, the Well Church has helped with maintenance projects on the first Sunday of every month.
