Once you know where you would like to garden, contact the coordinator of that garden listed and they will be able to inform you of plot availability. If there is a plot available, the coordinator will provide an agreement Form and our garden guidelines.
If all the plots are taken for the coming season, then you can have your name added to the waitlist.
Are there rules?
Yes. It is important that each gardener read and understand the garden guidelines provided. Feel free to ask your coordinator, or email us for more information.
How do I become a Member?
There are two types of memberships:
1 ) Gardener: The Gardener Agreement Form should only be filled out and returned if you have confirmed with the Garden Coordinator that you have been assigned a plot.
2 ) A society membership is for those who wish to support COCG, but do NOT want a garden plot.
Please contact us for more information.
How do I start a community garden in my community?
We currently have two manuals to help: one for Starting up a Garden for the first time, and one for Volunteer Coordinators. To read these manuals, contact us here info@centralokanagancommunitygardens.com
